Ordering from Boavida Organics is designed to be straightforward, reliable, and personal. All orders operate on a weekly cycle aligned with harvesting, preparation, and distribution, and are managed exclusively through WhatsApp to ensure clear and efficient communication. Customers may choose between farm collection or home delivery to selected estates.
Weekly Ordering Process
Boavida Organics follows a once-weekly ordering rhythm that supports freshness and seasonal integrity. Each week, customers receive a WhatsApp message detailing the produce available for that week. This includes vegetables, eggs, broiler chickens, pork cuts, seasonal duck eggs, seasonal rabbit meat, and any bulk or special items. CSA members receive this availability list before general customers.
Orders are placed by replying to WhatsApp with the required items, quantities, and whether the order will be collected from the farm or delivered. Once received, Boavida confirms the order, provides the total amount due, confirms the collection or delivery time, and advises of any stock changes where applicable.
Payment is made via EFT only. An EFT payment secures the order for that week, and payment details are provided with the order confirmation.
Collection and Delivery Options
Customers may collect their orders directly from the farm at the scheduled weekly collection time. CSA baskets are prepared in advance and are ready for collection on arrival.
Alternatively, Boavida Organics offers once-weekly home delivery to selected estates, including Pecanwood Estate, The Coves, The Islands Estate, Westlake Country & Safari Estate, and other neighbouring estates, subject to access and distance. Delivery windows are communicated via WhatsApp each week.
CSA Member Ordering
CSA members receive the highest level of priority, value, and access within the system. Membership includes a guaranteed weekly basket, first access to all additional products, preferential pricing on many items, and priority access to limited-quantity products. Members also benefit from surprise seasonal items added to their baskets at no extra cost and reserved stock during high-demand periods.
For CSA members, the weekly basket is automatically prepared. Add-on items may be requested at any time, and preferential pricing is applied where applicable. Payment via EFT confirms any additional orders, and baskets are made ready for collection or delivery according to the weekly schedule. This system provides consistency, reliability, and a premium food experience.
Ordering Deadlines
To ensure proper harvesting and preparation, orders generally close 24 hours before collection or delivery. Cut-off times may vary slightly by season, and reminders are sent via WhatsApp. Late orders may be accommodated where stock allows.
Special Orders and Bulk Requests
Customers may request bulk vegetables, large pork roasts, whole or half pigs, extra broiler chickens, additional eggs, festive-season orders, family-event quantities, and rabbit meat when available. CSA members receive priority for all special and bulk requests.
Payment Method
Boavida Organics accepts EFT payments only. Cash, card payments, and payment apps are not accepted. This approach ensures clarity, security, and administrative simplicity for both customers and the farm.
Communication and Updates
All customer communication is conducted via WhatsApp. This includes weekly availability lists, collection and delivery reminders, CSA notifications, seasonal updates, product announcements, and holiday schedules. Using a single communication channel keeps customers informed without unnecessary clutter.
