How Your Food Is Grown
Every item in your basket is produced through a closed-loop regenerative system.
This system naturally produces superior food.
Heirloom seed diversity
Traditional, open-pollinated varieties grown for flavour, resilience and biodiversity.
Pasture-based livestock
Animals raised outdoors on pasture, with space, sunlight and natural movement.
Low-density grazing
Stocking rates kept intentionally low to protect soil, grass and animal welfare.
Living-soil vegetable systems
Vegetables grown in biologically active soil rich in microbes and organic matter.
Rabbit and poultry manure composting
Natural manures recycled into compost to feed soil and crops safely.
Pig-assisted soil aeration
Pigs naturally loosen compacted soil while incorporating organic matter.
Seasonal veld nutrition
Livestock diets aligned with natural grazing, forage and seasonal veld growth.
Closed-loop nutrient cycling
Nutrients continuously reused on the farm so nothing is wasted.
Pricing & Value

Seasonal Substitution Policy (Honest & Regenerative)
Boavida does not force production.
If a core item is seasonally limited due to natural cycles, substitutions are made according to availability and ecological integrity.
Possible substitutions may include:
- rabbit meat
- duck meat
- duck eggs
- additional vegetables
- pork sausages or wors
- speciality items such as lard
Substitutions prioritise nutritional equivalence and system balance, not artificial consistency.
These items are also available as optional items.
- No industrial forcing
- No shortcuts
- Only seasonal reality and ecological integrity
